For some reason, I decided to learn the word for the chiffchaff (a warbler) in different languages; I can recall a dozen or so of those, including its Basque and Albanian names. I can recognise British birds by their songs as well. I once learned some Mongolian and a bit of the Santa language (a real thing), but I can't remember many words now. All I can say in the Santa language is "My tractor got stuck in the mud".
