Streak was 86ed

What gives? I was approaching a 200 streak and it suddenly went back to zero despite having completed a relevant quiz yesterday. Boo hoo. First world problem, I know, but I lead a small life.

Was that quiz featured? And did you get at least 5 questions correct?

I think what likely happened is that they took the RIA countries quiz and got less than 5 correct.

Was there an error to the JetPunk server (I mean, Duolingo keeps killing my streak because of errors, but it always comes back after the 'maintenance')

As mentioned above, double check the following:

1. Did you answer 5 questions, on a featured quiz? Repeat, did you answer FIVE questions on a FEATURED quiz?

2. Did your result register? Was your internet connection working properly when the quiz ended?

3. Did you set the streak time zone correctly?

TIL that you have to answer 5 questions correctly on a featured quiz to keep the streak, I always thought it was to have 50% or more questions correct within a featured quiz.

Yeah, nah. Featured quiz, 5 correct and I always check that the result registers. I did the RIA quiz and all the others in that series ages ago. But thanks for the interest. No sweat, I’ve started again. Keep the great quizzes coming!
