Is anything in NJ really remote, though?

Have you been to South Jersey? It's only North Jersey which is really crowded. Well besides costal cities its really rural

By the standards of other parts of the country, though, it's not really that remote.

Ain't North Jersey basically suburbs of NYC and South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia?

I think he's talking about the Pine Barrens, and those are like only 40 miles wide. Burlington county has 475,000 people. (Though I'm guessing that he means the more southern part of the county).

Search up Shamong Township. I drove through there once and it was very rural.

Also I would say Central Jersey is more suburbs of Philadelphia than South Jersey.

We are not all Suburbs. NJ has its own beauty too.

If you have stepped foot in rural NJ you know what I am talking about. If not don't compare it to other rural parts of the country.

Also Pine Barrens are way bigger than you think. Search these things up before you comment.

And I did intend the eastern part of Burlington as it is our biggest county

I apologize If I am coming a bit harsh.

No, you're fine. You answered the question and I just started a dumb argument.

East of the Sierra Nevada and the Mojave Desert. Essentially Mono County, Inyo County, and the majority of the land in San Bernardino County

Anywhere besides Charleston, Eastern and Northern Panhandles, and any "bigger" city.

Eastern Coast of the Chesapeake Bay. I know like one city (Easton) and nothing more.

For me it would be the south-central parts of the Ozarks and Pine forests in the south. The Delta is also quite empty. You can drive 70 miles on straight highways and not see a single gas station or restaurant.

Northwest Colorado (Moffitt County, Dinosaur). I'm not 100% sure that there's anything up there.

Nice to see Zgierz getting a mention; I used that as the final entry in my "A-Z geography ending in Z" quiz.
