I used the countries of the world quiz as a teacher since I liked how it looked. I realized I should probably know more geography since I taught it, so I used Jetpunk to memorize the map, as most of us did! Edit: (used it as a teaching tool the first time in 2017!)!
I have been using the site frequently ever since, but became a daily active user around 2020 or so.
But no one actually teaches the world map in most American schools. They definitely didn't at my school. So how are people supposed to know where Ukraine is?
Fortunately, JetPunk solves this :)
I credit JetPunk for a lot of my general (and not-so-general) knowledge. Often, when people ask how do I know [insert random bit of obscure trivia], the answer is simply JetPunk. I especially like to compare my quiz scores from 2-4-7 years ago with today and see how back then I didn't know things which have now became part of my knowledge as if they've always been there.
I start JetPunking on July 2020, between two Covid-19 lockdowns here in France.
The first quiz I ever took was US States quiz on the English section after googling something like "us state quiz with map". Then I took cotw and realized I was so bad at geography and decided to fix it on my free time. Since then I started taking quizzes on a daily basis and create many quizzes too. And that was the beginning of a real addiction to JetPunk!
So I can thank JetPunk for all the knowledge it provided to me, mostly geographical, but also in SVG drawing, English language and html/css coding.
I'm part of the new generation of JetPunk ! ^^
Anyway after searching Google for "sites like S*****e" I found JP.
The rest as they say is history.
JetPunk has grown in many ways since I started on here, and is still far superior to any other quiz site I have found.
