When did you start JetPunking?

My geography teacher showed the world map quiz to me in first year, I think 2015. I was astounded by how little I knew, and have kept coming back for more!

I first started using JetPunk in 2015, and used the COTW exclusively until about late 2016, when I started using the Capital quiz. From there I started taking quizzes regularly. I became a quizmaker in 2020 and only really became interested in blogging during 2021

I started using JetPunk around November 2011, shortly after the beginning of my Bachelor's. I think I found it through a website called pointlesssites. :D I remember that in the first days I was just going further and further back through the pages with the daily quizzes. Later I found the random button, the recently updated quizzes (or did they just come later?) etc. Since then, there have been some ebbs and flows of activity, but I've never stopped completely.

I credit JetPunk for a lot of my general (and not-so-general) knowledge. Often, when people ask how do I know [insert random bit of obscure trivia], the answer is simply JetPunk. I especially like to compare my quiz scores from 2-4-7 years ago with today and see how back then I didn't know things which have now became part of my knowledge as if they've always been there.

Here is my little story:

I start JetPunking on July 2020, between two Covid-19 lockdowns here in France.

The first quiz I ever took was US States quiz on the English section after googling something like "us state quiz with map". Then I took cotw and realized I was so bad at geography and decided to fix it on my free time. Since then I started taking quizzes on a daily basis and create many quizzes too. And that was the beginning of a real addiction to JetPunk!

I created my account in August 2023 and I created my first quiz in the same week. I have been creating a lot of quizzes since March 2024.

I'm part of the new generation of JetPunk ! ^^

I first got to know and played JetPunk in 2023 after asking Bing AI (now Copilot) opinions on U.S. state flags. One source it looked at was Quizmaster's blog post that ranked the U.S. state flags. That was how my account started.

I found JetPunk in January of 2016 after becoming disillusioned with "the other site" , (S******e) their layout with many adverts and smaller text size didn't do any favours.

Anyway after searching Google for "sites like S*****e" I found JP.

The rest as they say is history.

JetPunk has grown in many ways since I started on here, and is still far superior to any other quiz site I have found.

I discovered JetPunk in January of this year during a week of, rather boring, night shifts. I created this very basic quiz to get to know the ins and outs but have mainly concentrated on working my way through the quizzes.
