You're offered a job where you make JetPunk quizzes every day, from 9-5, 5 days a week. This will function like your normal job. However, each take your quizzes get (on your main account only) gives you a dollar in domestic income.
JetPunk rules still apply here. You could take your own quizzes, but being banned or deleting your account means losing your job.
Let's say this would replace your current job, or if you don't have one, would become your new job. Would you take the deal?
Normally, you make quizzes because you want to make them (intrinsic motivation). But with it as your job you'd think "I do it for money" which is a strong extrinsic motivation, probably stronger than you think.
It would also add pressure ("I make quizzes whenever an idea comes to me, but no pressure to make one every day" -> "I have to make quizzes every day because my life depends on it"). That's a 180-degree flip to say the least.
That's my opinion.
But I guess what matters are the takes...
"Well, I tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen
Pour myself a cup of ambition
Yawn and stretch and try to come to life
Jump in the shower and the blood starts pumping
Out on the street, the traffic starts jumping
With folks like me on the job from 9 to 5
Working 9 to 5!"
Also I hope you know that this is not something I am doing but rather just an input for the sake of this thread.
