Would you make JetPunk quizzes for a living?

Submitted by KiloNova on February 14, 2026
An interesting hypothetical question here.

You're offered a job where you make JetPunk quizzes every day, from 9-5, 5 days a week. This will function like your normal job. However, each take your quizzes get (on your main account only) gives you a dollar in domestic income.

JetPunk rules still apply here. You could take your own quizzes, but being banned or deleting your account means losing your job.

Let's say this would replace your current job, or if you don't have one, would become your new job. Would you take the deal?

I'd have a yearly salary of something like $72,000. Good enough for me.

Uh… yes. I’d do it for $0.05 per take. 🤣

Considering you would make maybe 10k a day or so I think you're set

The whole thing would probably flip your motivation on its head.

Normally, you make quizzes because you want to make them (intrinsic motivation). But with it as your job you'd think "I do it for money" which is a strong extrinsic motivation, probably stronger than you think.

It would also add pressure ("I make quizzes whenever an idea comes to me, but no pressure to make one every day" -> "I have to make quizzes every day because my life depends on it"). That's a 180-degree flip to say the least.

That's my opinion.

Quite a fair point, I guess that would ruin the JetPunk experience quite a bit

If an intrinsic motivation aligns with the extrinsic motivation then I don't see why that would flip the effect. If you are writing a book because you like writing and not because you have to for money the extrinsic is not providing a negative effect at all on the overall motivation. You write books because you enjoy to write. You make quizzes because you just enjoy to make quizzes. The money portion is provided not as an instrument to stress you out but just as a way so that you can do what you love in a sustainable manner.

Honestly, it's a good side hustle, but it wouldn't be an effective job in my opinion. The whole "make quizzes everyday" is a turn down for me.

Well i dont have a job right now, n i dont plan on having one for a few years, so i guess this being my job for now would be cool, cuz i make quizzes anyway, and earning money from it would just be a plus side with no negative side if you know what i mean. So yeah, id take it, even if i wont become millionaire or something.

Got to say it

"Well, I tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen

Pour myself a cup of ambition

Yawn and stretch and try to come to life

Jump in the shower and the blood starts pumping

Out on the street, the traffic starts jumping

With folks like me on the job from 9 to 5

Working 9 to 5!"

Is the dollar per take after tax?

Domestic income, so that's after tax

In theory you could make only 1 quiz then have an alt account take it a whole bunch of times then it would be a money making machine

Then buy multiple computers make multiple accounts and take the quiz many times on each account.

Also I hope you know that this is not something I am doing but rather just an input for the sake of this thread.

Multiple computers? I'm not sure it would be worth it to buy a bunch of computers just to take JetPunk quizzes one at a time

I mean there are some HP laptops on the market for $130. If you have a 1 minute quiz it would only take 130 minutes to make $130. Now after that if you run it for 480 minutes you make 480 dollars meaning that your total profit is 350. Now if you multiply that by 1000 laptops then it would by 35000 dollars of profit per day and a salary of a little over 127 grand a year and this is without even including extra takes by other people. Now removing electricity costs you will still be making over 100 grand

No, I'd rather get paid per quizzes taken. Working a 9-5 making quizzes for a site like this is not a good idea. It'll eventually just giving you diminishing returns on quality of quizzes.

100%, considering I would have made 84k last year and am averaging 7k a month this year, that sounds like a nice side hustle and I wouldn't even have to make quizzes daily.
