With the help of a map, can you guess all modern day countries that were at one point controlled by the Axis powers and their co-belligerents during World War II?
El Alamein (the location of the major battle where the Allies pushed the Axis back and started taking back Northern Africa) is about 60 km west of Alexandria, which itself is still a ways away from Cairo. Then, of course, the Axis would’ve had to somehow cross the Nile, which seems uh… very difficult to say the least.
This was the objective in North Africa (to get the Suez Canal), but they got stopped for good at El Alamein, a strategic narrow part at the entrance of Egypt.
(South of El Alamein is a severe depression that would be unsuitable for motorised vehicles, making the terrain uncrossable)
Unfortunately most sudden death quizzes do have it (so far, even newer ones I think). I find it is a very interesting extra set of stats, and should be displayed standard on sudden death quizzes. I don't know if it is an option you can turn on or not, or if only the quizmaster can add it when he features the quiz, but I see no reason not to have it. I am sure everyone is interested to see those stats (even those that do not care about the normal stats)
Just kidding, I myself failed three times cuz I wanted to finish it quickly though I knew all of it
