Start by naming any country that France borders. Then name any country that borders any of those countries. Then keep going until there are no more countries left to name.
It works on number of borders away from France. I got all 11 levels without naming any Central American countries. I named mostly African countries... The one surety is you have to guess Lesotho! ;)
You don't have to name any in Central America. But those countries only have one other possible border, making them optimal for a quick time, or just completing the quiz.
I wonder which two countries would be the furthest away from each other in this way? I'm thinking Lesotho and Canada but not sure if you get between those through a country other than France
And the funny thing is France and Canada are only like 2 miles apart if going from the closest spot in Newfoundland (Green Island) to St Pierre and Miquelon (Grand Colombier)
I liked this quiz, but it was quite easy. An idea for a variation of this would be that you have to name all countries that borders, before you can move on to the next ring and so on.
Because it doesn't border the previous rings of countries that South Africa borders. If you watch the map, it's clear that answering South Africa won't give you Lesotho as one borders Namibia/Botswana/Zambia etc. and one doesn't. Lesotho was my last answer.
Shouldn't the UK and Ireland get filled in thanks to Spain bordering Gibraltar? Fun quiz either way (could also be fun without a map to make it a bit trickier)
The only country in the Americas I had to guess was Canada. I didn't name a single country in Africa except Lesotho. I just went through Europe and the Middle East until I was basically done... finished in 34 seconds
not a real border? It clearly exists. There is a border between Canada and Greenland. Just because its not between two sovereign states doesn't mean its a "fake" border. Would you say the border between England and Wales isn't a "real" border?
Canada borders the Danish Realm, of the Kingdom of Denmark, which of course includes the Faroe Islands and Greenland. There are plenty of comments restating the same, "Hans Island" stuff. Unfortunately for everyone, overseas territories aren't a standard for JetPunk. And no, French Guiana and Ceuta/Melilla aren't territories.
Spain/Italy, Guyana, DRPK, ROK, CAR, KSA, UAE, USA, Canada, Lesotho
