Just after I started the quiz, "All Apologies" started playing. Made me smile when I got to Nirvana's frontman.

After just finishing the "Cities that Begin with S" quiz, I was thinking all of these answers had to begin with W. I was going crazy trying to think of who sang White Christmas besides Bing Crosby, and it never dawned on me that Bill Gates had worked on the first answer. I shouldn't be let out of my cage this early in the morning.

How exactly is Bruce Lee from Washington? He was born in San Francisco and raised in Hong Kong.

I was wondering that too, so I did some research. After he moved back to San Francisco at age 18, Bruce Lee apparently lived Seattle from 1959-1964, where he attended college for awhile before dropping out and moving back to California.

Personally I think including him is a BIG stretch since he wasn't native to Washington and didn't live there very long, but the hint for him is easy enough so it doesn't bother me much.

He’s buried here (in Seattle)

I guess that means he's been in Seattle longer than he'd been anywhere else.

Added Ken Jennings. Others aren't really "from" Washington.

And I know Bruce Lee isn't either... but Bruce Lee!

Love the Far Side cartoon selection. That one has always been one of my favorites of his.

A shame that Greg "The Hammer" Valentine doesn't make the cut for this quiz.

Didn't think I'd ever see Ted Bundy, Bing Crosby and Sir Mix-a-Lot in the same quiz

Nine out of sixteen, happy enough with that as a Brit. I wasn’t expecting to know them all, the likes of the basketballer we just don't get basketball (or baseball, NFL, or Ice Hockey) much if at all on UK tv.

I’ve never heard of Macklemore, Jennings, Larson or Sir Mix-a-lot, but I do recognise Wilson.

Interesting quiz.

Gonna be honest, I’m kind of disappointed in the people that don’t get Hendrix and Larson. “The Far Side” is my favorite comic series!
