Loving these, keep 'em coming please QM

Did slightly better on this one than the 6-letter one, only missed Sava and Gary, although Pune and Nice both took me a while to figure out

How do you miss Gary, IN? I’ve never been to Indiana, and I got that one. Also, Michael Jackson was born there.

I though the Greek god of victory was Nike. Can you accept that spelling?

I'm a geography professional and work on maps all day so I usually do pretty well on geography stuff, but still only got 7/20 on this one for 0/5 points. So many uber-nerds on here, go outside people!

Surprised Toba is the least guessed, I thought it came up quite a lot when I was at school? Or maybe that was just when I was obsessed with volcanoes idk

I can't even find Nice, Greece on a map. Or in Wikipedia. Can someone point me to the actual place this exists?

Closest I find is Nice (Thrace), a former town in what is now Turkey.

Not sure if this was intended as a joke or not - if so it was too subtle for me! - but the question refers to the city of Nice in France :)

Doh... afraid it was not a joke, just a complete brain melt on my part. I read "City founded by the Greeks around 350 BC" and thought "Well, that must be in Greece... why do all my searches only find the well known Nice, France?".

Let's never speak of this again :)
