Well, I'll be blowed. All this time I thought Guadeloupe was one island. So, thanks to googlemaps, we see it's two: Basse-Terre, and Grande-Terre (which also appears in this quiz, separately). QM, if you think that turns that one into a real killer, maybe award a point for both islands if you type in "Guadeloupe"? If you can do it for Congo and Congo....
I was also thinking about giving both when typing Guadeloupe. After all, these are barely two islands... they are very close and only separated by a "salt river".
Nowadays the word is used for the whole island, so to be easy you can accept that one name as a single answer.
Technically, it's two islands (with a very small salty bit of water in between), so if you want to make the quiz harder, ask for two answers (Grande Terre and Basse Terre).
As of now, the quiz is a weird mix of the two options: it only accepts Grande Terre and Guadeloupe as answers. This is weird: if you ask for two answers, Basse Terre should work for the western half.
I feel cheated by that, because I knew Guadeloupe wasn't one island, so I never tried it. I got Grand-Terre, and couldn't figure out why Basse-Terre wasn't working for the other part.
Guadeloupe is the name of the whole archipelago so a choice should be made: either typing Guadeloupe validates 2 answers, or it is not accepted and the answers are Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre.

Guadeloupe is the French Department...
