Out of boredom, I decided to calculate the statistics if this were the case.

Expected number of Monaco questions: ~6

Standard deviation: ± 2 questions

Likelihood of getting no Monaco questions: 0.05%

Likelihood of getting 2 questions: 2%

Likelihood of getting 20 questions: 0.000000009%

Wouldn't there be 3 expected Monaco questions out of a total of 634? And what is the likelihood of getting the first two questions Monaco?
+1

I calculated the expected value based on the the fact that there are 20 questions, and we assume 200/634 are Monaco, so: 20*(200/634) = 6.3

The odds of getting the first two to be Monaco in that case would be: (200/634)*(199/633) = 10%

I got this question: "What country has the largest population in the Southern Hemisphere?" The quiz claimed the correct answer was Brazil.

Adding up the populations of only the Indonesian provinces that are EXCLUSIVELY in the Southern Hemisphere gives me a figure of about 4 million more than Brazil's total population. Once you take away the population of Brazil living north of the Equator and add in the population south of the Equator in those Indonesian provinces that are divided, Indonesia definitely has more people in the Southern Hemisphere than Brazil.
