How did the British engineer potato blight, which hit potatoes throughout Europe (Scotland and Belgium were hit badly as well, but people there had other crops to fall back onto).
The British government initially did help, and a lot of British people sent aid/charity, and there was a lot of reporting in the press in Britain. Plenty of people in Britain did want to help, and tried.
However, the government in Westminster could and should have done so much more, there's no denying that, and the later government (after an election) did turn their backs on what was going on in island, expecting the market to sort things out (which was the prevailing philosophy through the west at the time).
Please stop referring to "The British" as if we are all some amorphous whole: we are not, then or now.
I saw it as a hospital too (still got the answer though). Never seen an H like that on a hotel (part of a word not taken into account obviously), everytime I see a building with a big H on it, it is a hospital..
My kids started crying before they had even started a game of monopoly once. When I was a child, the game always ended in tears, or someone flipping the board up!
You should accept a lot more for the Irish potato famine. I'm Irish and here it's known as The Great Famine. Irish Famine could also be accepted as could The Great Hunger. While a decent amount of people got the specific answer you were looking for I think it's a little bit unfair for those of us who would never have even known it by this name! When I was in school it was always The Great Famine. That seems to be the official name it has taken over here and the other suggestions I have would make it fair. I don't think I've ever seen it referred to as the irish potato famine
There is a football ball, the world, and a cup. So it makes more sense the Football World Cup and not FIFA World Cup. I was writing that and I also tried FIFA Football World Cup. None of them were accepted. They should be included
I tried Odysseus and Perseus for the Greek hero. Heracles isn’t the only one. Now I’m also thinking of Ajax, Jason, and Bellerophon. There are many more.
Paddington has the wrong type of train. The train shown looks to be an electric train with a pantograph fitted - and that's not going to work in Paddington station.

I think it's strict to require the word "potato" in the answer. I would suggest this type-in instead:
^(THE)?(GREAT|IRISH|IRELAND|POTATO)+FAMINE
I looked at the HTML type-ins for the emojis but I couldn't find a list of the emojis by number so that I know which one to choose.
Could you tell me where to find it please?
