Great quiz! I especially appreciated the question about Santa Fe, as I've always found it fascinating how old of a city it is. I was surprised though that Boston wasn't older than Albany and definitely didn't realize Albany had been around that long.
It was already really populated in 1960 -- NYC proper has only grown by a couple hundred thousand since then. A lot of young people move to NYC, but many then move to New Jersey or Connecticut to start families, while still working in the city (or just move away from the area entirely).
The rest of the state is basically part of the Rust Belt. I can't see any reason places like Buffalo or Rochester would have grown since manufacturing has been in decline.
I agree. I feel rushed trying to read the sometimes lengthy clue, think, and then try to guess if I'm not positive of the answer. Another minute would help.
