Interesting that a cookie company was named National Biscuit Company. I thought a "biscuit" was more like a British scone in America. I guess back in 1898 biscuit had the same meaning in the US as it does now in the UK?

You should add house music. The term came from the nightclub 'Warehouse' in Chicago. It's arguably the best thing that came from Chicago!
