Michael Jordan played the game on a completely different level than everyone else. There's not much I could write here that hasn't already been said, but I am happy that there seems to be very little controversy among this group that he's #1 of all-time, and I really have a hard time imagine his accomplishments ever being eclipsed. He was just so damn good.

he doesn't have the most rings as a first option, doesn't have the most mvps, doesn't have the most all nbas, doesn't have the most all star selections, doesn't have the most points... could go on and on... there is a debate about the greatest ever whether you like it or not...

No, there isn't. Younger people think stats always tell the whole story because having every stat imaginable immediately available on the internet means this is how you have every single argument. You scramble to the reference page and then just start firing off numbers without context.

Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all-time.

The growing number of people who say LeBron is the goat tells us that there really IS a debate
+1
Level 68
Nov 17, 2025
There can be a "debate" about anything if enough people insist on being wrong. Just about everyone who actually saw both Jordan and LeBron play say Jordan was better. The only reason there is a "growing number" of people saying it's LeBron is because there is a growing number of people who have seen LeBron play, but never saw Jordan play.

Draymond at 88? A guy whose highlight reel is just him punching and kicking people in the nuts? Really? The guy who singlehandedly cost his team a championship with a stupid technical foul? This is what we're going with?

And Frazier and Monroe are in but Hardaway, Mullin, Rose, Wallace, etc. are not? Odd list.

+1
Level 66
Nov 5, 2025
Frazier easily deserves top 100, not sure what the confusion is there. Best player on the 73 Knicks and should've won FMVP over Willis Reed.

I agree about Mullin, Hardaway, and Wallace. But Rose had a two-year peak and basically disappeared from the league after 2015. It's hard to put him in the same tier as someone like Klay Thompson who never had the peak but had the consistent success and longer career.

Level 96

Draymond Green feels like a big reach. He is definitely NOT a top 100 all-time player. There are a lot of great defenders that are not on this list who were more effective offensive players than he is.

If he never plays with Steph Curry, he never sniffs top 250, much less top 100.

+1
Level 66
Nov 5, 2025
The issue is that many of those defenders don't have four rings. I'm not a Draymond fan or Warriors fan at all but it's hard to take that away from him. And he'd legitimately have a Finals MVP if the Dubs managed to win Game 7 in 2016.

Same goes for Klay, if he wasn't playing with Curry he'd probably never be as effective as he was. But he got lucky in that sense, and he's an all-time great because of it.

+1
Level 32
Nov 29, 2025
Nah klay is different hes genuinely a top 3 three point shooter of all time, lowest is top 4.
+1
Level 66
Dec 10, 2025
Dude Klay gets his open shots because he plays on Steph Curry's team and defenses would rather guard him. Klay can't pass, can't rebound, and can't dribble. He's 3 and D, that's it. Yes he'd be a great player wherever he went but I seriously doubt he'd reach the HOF if he wasn't in a system that rewards his style of play like the Warriors.
+1
Level 48
Mar 10, 2026
For sure he's probably not a hall of famer, considering guys like Shawn Kemp and Shawn Marion are not hall of famers. But Klay is certainly more than "3 and D" as he was a perennial all-star. That shouldn't be considered "3 and D" he's more than just that. But yes, he wouldn't be as good without Steph, but he's still a part of the Warriors' big 3.

Hey QM, just thought I'd point out that a lot of the years that the players started their careers are wrong. For example, LeBron started in 2003 not 2004, and Magic started in 1979 not 1980.

The craziest one is Wilt starting in 1952 when he didn't actually start until 1959
