When you stroll the streets of Greenwich Village, you walk in the footsteps of Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Simon and Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, etc.

Gadsden could also be an answer for the former 4th most populous city in Alabama and major industrial city. its home to 33,000 people so not terribly large but its urban population is just over 60,000

I guess that's one way to shut down the complaints of US-centrism in a "Geography of the Americas" quiz: just change it to a "US Geography" quiz!

I don't think that that is "shutting down". I think people that left these comments are very happy with this change, now it does what it says on the tin.

Disclaimer, English isn't my first language so words can have a broader meaning than I am exposed to, but I was under the impression that shutting down meant, not pleasing them and giving someone exactly what they were hoping for, but more like removing the proverbial ammo, that they are still unpleased but for one reason or another you made it so that they can't complain anymore

as one of those critics, I confirm that I'm very happy with this change! I just changed my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars (wow I was *mad* before lol)
