The standard spelling is "William the Conqueror" (with 2 "o"s). Please accept this spelling.

Some answers just need the last name, others need both names (Bill Gates). Why??

Thanks for the suggestion! For this quiz, I picked who I consider are the 20 best Williams. There are certainly many more great ones, including William Hartnell, and you can always make a Famous Williams #2 if you want.
