There is one photo that ought to be changed. The Green-winged Teal shown in the photo is an individual of the Eurasian subspecies Anas crecca crecca; although that subspecies occasionally turns up in North America, the one that is typically found in the US is Anas crecca carolinensis. The male of the Eurasian subspecies has a horizontal white stripe, obvious when the bird is swimming, as in the quiz photo. American birds show an equally conspicuous vertical white stripe.

Thanks for pointing this out, I've replaced the image. I'm not sure why I made that mistake at the time, as I'm pretty sure I was aware of the different subspecies.
