I love this Quiz!!!

But there should be accepted a few additional Type-Ins:

Schwarzwald for Black Forest (german name)

Bayrischer Wald and Bayerischer Wald for Bohemian Forest (The terms Böhmerwald + Bohemian Forest refer mainly to the czech parts on the other side of the mountain ridge)

Schwaben for Swabia (which is btw not only a term for this part of Bavaria but also for most of Württemberg)

Wallis for Valais (Valais is the french name Wallis the german name)

Tirol for Tyrol (german/austrian name)

Wattenmeer, Wattensee and maybe Watt for Wadden Sea (german names, Watt is a shortened form that would be nice if accepted but not necessary)

Nord- and Ostsee for North Sea and Baltic Sea (German Names)

Pott for The Ruhr (commonly used name within The Ruhr)

As I said I love this Quiz! And as you seem to be a foreigner I understand that youre not that familiar with the german names. I hope my comment is helpful and im looking forward to playing other quizzes of you! Nominated!

Thanks for taking the time to give some feedback. Appreciate it.

Added the German names as type-ins.

I chose the administrative region of Schwaben because it is pretty loosely defined otherwise. As for Böhmerwald, I chose it because it extends into Austria where this is the common name but since the majority on this map is in Bavaria you're right to point out that Bayerischer Wald is better.

Thx.

I forgot Freiburg for Fribourg, Genfer See for Lake Geneva and Neuenburger See for Lake Neuchâtel.

Great quiz, even though some of the Swiss places are not within the German speaking area.

Thanks! And true. Thought about naming it DACH countries but not sure how familiar people are with that designation.

Crazy tough deep-dive quiz! Was proud to get 34 as an American, must be mostly Europeans taking this.

Very nice quiz!! I love your serie!!

Just 2 points for me:

The Rhine starts in Graubünden, not in Lake Constance

I would accept Leman for lake Geneva

I should have got more than 50 as my mum is German and I have visited many of these places BUT I do not think it right that you included places in the French and Italian and Romansch speaking areas of Switzerland as German is almost unknown there. I would have been far happier had you included the small corner of Belgium that speaks German and South Tyrol/Alto Adige in Italy .....

Good fun! I did pretty badly but I still enjoyed it - thank you. I would have done a bit better (I think) if you had chosen to include Luxemburg... well perhaps!

Could you add a black border to the Mountain box in the answer table (currently has white border and white background, so it's a bit hard to see)? Nice quiz!

Great quiz, but it seems that the state of Bremen is incomplete. It consists of 2 cities (Bremen and Bremerhaven) and in your map, I can only see Bremerhaven (which is by far the smaller one).
