Can you please explain the 6000er one? If the (V)M means five times M, shouldn't it then be rather (VI)M?

Thanks for testing out my quiz, for that I have mentioned such cases in the description. For values more than 1k, use parenthesis. For example, (V) = 5 * 1000 = 5000

Welcome to the community!! Just a quick suggestion. The 73 Roman numeral you only have to put LXXII for it to count, which is incorrect as it would be 72. Maybe just a faulty type-in. Welcome again to JetPunk. We are glad to have you here! =)))

Nope subtractions only apply for the same place value when the action was performed from a 5, 50, 500, etc.

E.g. 50 = L, 40 = XL, 49 = XLIX (50 - 10 + 10 - 1)
