Couldn't Eastbourne be a touristy coastal town on the south coast? Wikipedia talks about its tourism in the intro section and there's a Visit Eastbourne website.

Also it's inconsistent to say Brighton & Hove ends in a vowel and Stoke-on-Trent does not.
