Strangely this doesn't happen on click map quizzes with paths like US states or countries, but only on quizzes with city circles (zoomable in the present case).
I noticed that it only happens when you click on a path with the "jp-fail" class, AND which is not an answer to the quiz.
As this path is not an answer, that does not remove the erroneous answer. I do not know if it is clear, but I hope it could give you clues to correct this bug.
I definitely got that feeling too. For instance, Amsterdam has been placed on the North Sea instead of the lake and Chișinău leans towards the western border even though it's actually near perfectly centered.
This quiz is broken. It doesn't happen every time, but occasionally, when you click a correct answer, another answer will show up as incorrect at the same time. Please fix this.
Are you using mobile? Which city did you click and which showed up? More details could help them fix this if there's a bug. I haven't noticed this exact issue with these types of quizzes.
For those having trouble with Moscow, it is about equally as far away from Kyiv as it is from Minsk. Then of course you have to know where those too are, but Minsk is roughly in the middle and Kyiv is a little bit under an indentation.
(If you need more help, you could see if you are under that second lake (Lake Onega))
Also since they are surprisingly low; It might help to remember that Oslo Stockholm and Helsinki are at roughly the same height (latitude). And Oslo is easy because it has a nice inlet.
Great quiz! I think the dot for Tirana is misplaced, Tirana is not coastal but more towards the center of the country. The current dot seems to be on Durrës
Amazing quiz! This reminds me of a flash game from the 2000's where they would give you a city and then you would click a location on the world map trying to be as close as possible to the actual city. You got more points the closer you were. (similar to Geoguessr, but with city names instead of street view photos-- I've never played Geoguessr, so I don't know if they have a similar mode). I think they would give you like 20 cities per game. There was a leader board where you could compare your score to other quiz takers. I can't remember the name of the game. I've searched for it unsuccessfully. It was super fun, though, and competing with others was a great feature. All that to say, it would be cool to see something like that on JetPunk. It probably wouldn't work as a regular quiz. Might be better as a minigame.
The flash game you talk about here seems to be some ancestor to Geogssr.
I'd like to see this sort of minigames on JetPunk, but it would be very close to what Dimby has already coded with his Pin on the Map quizzes. Plus you already can use the friend feature to compare scores.
Good question. But the purpose of this quiz is to locate cities on a map, not to speculate on the origin of the thumbnail.
Nevertheless, since this question seems to interest many users, I plan to create a quiz with only a thumbnail. It will be less work for me and will satisfy the whiners.
nice one, but I skipped moscow and got everything right first try. At last there was moscowe, I had 5 space invaders (lifes) left, but the wrong guess made it final with 4 out of 5 points.
Got 43/45, messed up Warsaw and Kyiv. Went a bit too west for Warsaw and a bit too north for Kyiv. Still a solid run though. Always trips me out how north Stockholm is, and how Vienna is basically touching tips with Bratislava.
I don't know what could be causing this.
Hope you'll find a way to fix this.

Well, actually I didn't say it a lot, but I sure thought it a lot!
Thank you for posting thi quiz :)
Edit: nvm, it works now
Edit edit: i just realised it's because i got too many wrong
Kyiv went green for me and I think I clicked a further distance from that, although I did still click within Ukraine.
Nice quiz though!

Thanks!

So, in a way, this already exists on JetPunk!
Congrats on the feature!
