I87 runs in upstate NY and is a sizable interstate. Are you thinking of I73?

There are actually two I-87s. There are a few numbers that correlate to two different primary interstates (76, 84, 86, 87, and 88).

I-73 is currently over 100 miles and would therefore not make this list.
