I think this one needs more time, otherwise it just becomes a memorize and regurgitate quiz. Those have their place, but not in calculation-based quizzes, IMO. If you're giving a quiz that involves calculation, give people time to actually do the calculations.

I think people who are familiar with the powers of 2 should be able to directly recall them from their head.

In the description I said "computing nerds will get them all", which means essentially the same thing. They've seen the powers of 2 so much that they can basically recall them from their head without calculating.

For example, if you ask a true computing nerd "what is 2 to the 24", they'll likely respond with "16,777,216" immediately, without calculating in their head.

Note that I said "give the values of ..." and didn't use the word "calculate", which hints at this.
