You would think the first country to recognize the US would be France. I guess not. Great quiz!

I thought so as well, but i did some research and it turns out, morocco recognized the us before it even gained independence, where as france recognized it a little after

Right now typing in the Bangladesh answer autofills the Bengali answer beneath it (because "Bangla" is a type in for "Bengali"). You might want to change one of those questions.

And there is no country below India. There are countries south of India.

It's not the primary definition of "below", but, as a preposition, it's not uncommon for it to mean south.

e.g. Uruguay is located below the equator.
