Please add spellings for "Lychee." Leechee, litchi, lichi, etc. should work.

This was fun, I took it twice. One suggestion is adding rockmelon as a type-in for cantaloupe. Another would be accepting cacao as its own type-in without requiring "pod" at the end. All in all, great quiz, will nominate

I thought it was Sugar Apple not Cherimoya, it looks the same from its peel

I thought it was a soursop but apparently they are different

They're all similar but as Tomosie said they're all different, Sugar Apple has a more creamy and sweet taste while cherimoya has a more acidic and fruity taste similar to strawberry or kiwi

It wouldn't accept neither Physalis nor all other synonyms of this fruit (groundberry, poha).

Excellent Quiz! Enjoyed it a lot, especially since I am a fruit fan...

I want to make some suggestions though.

Please add alternate names for these fruits:

1. Chinese bayberry is also known as yum berry and waxberry

2. Ugli fruit. Please allow Ugly fruit too, I know its not technically correct. But lot of them misspell it.

3. Cherimoya is also known as Custard Apple

4. Buddha’s Hand - please accept the word Buddha citrus, Buddha Hand, Buddha lemon. They are close enough

5. Sapodilla is also known as Sapota, Chikoo

6. Cacao Pod - please accept Cacao fruit, Chocolate pod (I know its technically incorrect)

7. Prunes doesn’t take the singular spelling

I will add these, yum berry is already accepted as a type in though

"custard apple" can mean several different fruits and is very vague. this is also not even a cherimoya; it's a sugar apple/sweetsop, Annona squamosa.

A prune is a dried plum, so on the tree it's still a plum, not a prune. Please update the picture to actually show a prune (dried) as opposed to a plum (on the tree).

Is a prune actually a separate fruit from a plum? I've always considered plums/prunes to be like grapes/raisins; the first is fresh, and the second is dried. In a quiz like this, the dried version of the same fruit shouldn't be included just because it has a different name.

Why not accept just cacao instead of cacao pod? Plums are plums. You've made this unnecessarily complicated in a few spots.

Overall a decent quiz. Could do with courgette for zucchini and blue java should be accepted for blue java banana.

this is genuinely... ahem, in need of improvement. that is not a cherimoya, that is a sugar apple. Annona spp. are constantly confused. that "blue java banana" is just a cultivar, not a fruit in its own right. same goes for rose apples. also, a star apple IS a "cainito". a banana flower is not a fruit, it's a FLOWER. i believe pineberries are just a strawberry cultivar but i may be mistaken. a buddha's hand is a type of citron, and that other cherry is still just a cherry cultivar. i'm almost certain that photo of the red fruit with 4 pinched parts is a Syzygium sp. "king coconuts" are still a cultivar of coconuts. also, "gooseberry" is a very vague term, and can mean many different fruits; i'd prefer "cape gooseberry", "goldenberry(?)" or "peruvian groundcherry". anyways that's my rant. i am a fruit enthusiast and i could not help myself

All valid criticism in my opinion. Seeing as I made this quiz a while ago, I do agree it needs somewhat of a rework. I plan to get it fixed relatively soon here!
