Shocked to not find Japan on this list. I just returned from Japan, and let me tell you, they don't even understand the concept of vegetarianism. Every restaurant I had to spent fifteen minutes explaining what counted as "meat".

I know! I had the same problem there. I was pretty amazed that it was such a weird concept there, cause travelling as a vegetarian is very easy in asia in general (partly because of buddhism/hinduism/jainism/sikhism?).
