The methodology is part of the quizzes linked in the caveats above. Think more 'places that have emoji flags' than places by actual autonomy. It's kind of an old, not well-thought out quiz of mine, but I'm happy someone enjoyed it enough to give it a spotlight!

Great! Kosovo has become a lake. It would be nice if 'normal' countries appeared with a different colour from the start (eg grey or directly in green) so you'd know where to look for the missing ones

Yeah, it's too hard this way to guess what you are thinking of. I mean, why Faroe Islands but not Åland, why North Marianas but not Guam, etc.

All 'normal' countries are now in grey.

How can you not have Tibet? Richard Gere would be mad -- serenely so -- but at least upset.

Isn't French Guiana considered an actual region of France, rather than an overseas territory?

It's a 'department', so yes.

And also Reunion, Guadeloupe, Martinique etc are all actual French departments. Don't se how they are any different from the likes of Guam which isn't included.

Guam is not a departement (or state) of the USA, while the French islands mentioned ARE integral (akin to States in the US) parts of France.

the difference is overseas departments of France have the same rights as actual French states and US territories don't have the ability to take part in federal elections and don't have true American citizen status.

Could you add more spelling variations for each country, Some of the countries listed are territories of others either remove them or tell us that territories are included.

You did not include Hawaii which has the same rights as mainland USA. You did not include Galápagos which has the same rights as mainland Ecuador. You did include French Guiana which has the same rights as mainland France. Seems a bit inconsistent to me.

Well Hawaii is a US State. So it's part of the USA.

Well French Guiana is a French overseas department (NOT territory). So it's part of France.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will consider these, I already have the two sets of Virgin Islands but I can't remember why I missed out on the others.

French Guiana, Martinique, Guadaloupe, Mayotte and Réunion are all regions/departments of France, NOT territories.

They are just like Corsica or Normandy

Completely random, which requires wild guessing. No point in showing the map as most of them are smaller and not visible.

The quiz would be doable if it had the Show Missing dots or if all answers were visible on the map, but as is, it's very difficult to figure out which answers are included.
