The quiz has gotten a massive overhaul! Let me know what you think of the new labels and colours :)

I am hoping to update other quizzes in the series with a similar fomat.

The mountains on the Swiss border are known, in Italy, as Cervino and Monte Bianco.

Cervino and Monte Bianca are accepted type-ins now. Thank you :)

nice! Lipari is actually one of seven Eolian Islands. They are actually also known as Lipari islands. From the map you can't tell which of the 7 you are referring to (eg I tried stromboli first). You could add archipelago (or volcano!) as a group of answers since there's a few in Italy. I always heard of the mountain as Monviso, I think it's only famous for being the source of Po, for example Monte Rosa or Gran Sasso are more famous. Good job!

I was gonna say exactly the same things. Please accept both Eolie and Lipari, they should be accepted in Italian too. And I agree that Monviso is not very well known, there's much more that is famous

Fun quiz. Only one suggestion: it's Monviso, not Monte Viso.

Thank you! It seems to be called Monte Viso in English, but both names work for this quiz.

Good quiz! Just a little request: can you accept "Tevere" for Tiber? It's the Italian name

Nice, I just took it again! Not sure how you created the .svg but the quality of the map seems lower than usual (coastlines and borders)

Thanks for playing! I adapted the SVG from the old Jetpunk map of Europe (which in turn comes from Natural Earth). I could certainly do this map more justice, and I believe that these kinds of quizzes still have lots of merit on Jetpunk six years later, although I haven't figured out the best way to approach this yet.

Did you actually intend to add the Monviso as an extra challenge?

I think it's pretty obscure (i mean: as Italian, I got it, but it's clear that it's quite hard for anyone else)

If you would ever be willing to replace it with something less obscure but still pretty hard may I suggest using Gran Sasso? it's the highest mountain in the Appennines.

Thank you for the suggestion, Monviso has now been replaced with Gran Sasso!
