Updated to add forgotten languages, Friulian, Asturian and Ladin! Unfortunately I could not include Aromanian and Occitan on the map, so you are given them for free. Both languages are spread out, if I were to draw Aromanian the map would be incredibly fractured, while I do not know how I would go about drawing Occitan, since it is a minority language over the entirety of Southern France.

As far as I know, Venetian is considered a dialect, while Occitan and Friulian are languages on their own.

I live in Italy and here Occitan and Friulian are formally recognised as "minority languages" (as well as French, German, Sardinian, etc.)

I will look into it further, personally I'm convinced that Friulian and Occitan are distinct languages. I've always struggled with differenciating Italian languages from dialects, but I've had a chance to research it further since I made this quiz. I need to revise the German languages quiz in this series, so I'll likely revise this one too. Thanks for the feedback.

honestly for the 4 they teach you in school i am glad with the score of 7 i got on my own, i just guessed corsican and sardinian since they are islands and probably have their own form
