I never said it wasn't. The highlighted region is the language not the country...

Yes, you are correct, I've gone and confused it with Armenian-speaking Artsakh. I've updated the map now.

Karakalpak, Tuva, Altai, Yakutia, Gagauzia, Chuvash are also Turkic languages.

Hatay is Turkey.

Hope you update.

This quiz asks for the 10 most spoken languages only, with Chuvash likely being the nearest miss. I have doubts about this, but several of the maps I have seen claimed Hatay is not majority Turkish speaking.

every province in Turkey is Turkish speaking, but Kurdish regions speak it as a L2 rather than a mother tongue. Hatay is ethnically Turkish since 1950s. 1965 Turkish census (most recent that showed linguistic data) states that more than 72% of Hatay was primarily Turkish speaking

You are correct, I may update to fill Hatay in. I managed to find a realistic area in which Kurdish is the L1 language (many maps exaggerate that area by including minority Kurdish regions) so I would also like to grey out that region (even if Turkish is widely spoken throughout Turkey). Thanks for the feedback!

Bro one of my best friends is from Hatay, i have been in there, and Turkish is definitely majority speaking language with no doubt.

It's definitely an error, however not currently a high priority of mine to correct that. Unfortunately some of my source maps claimed Turkish was a minority in most of the province.
