I find the Sikh diaspora interesting, as it is so concentrated in Canada (where I live). Punjabi Sikhs played a large role in the history of British Columbia in particular, with the town of Paldi, BC being founded by the BC Sikh community.

Please note that Dubai's figure is a very conservative estimate, based on the fact that the UAE has around 50,000 Sikhs, and so Dubai's Sikh community is likely much larger.

I am interested in making similar quizzes for other religious traditions, such as Hindus or Muslims. This may be slowed down by the fact that many countries do not conduct census data on religion (making it harder to get figures for cities within said countries).

Thank you! I forgot to add a legend but subdivisions are coloured by the percentage Sikh population (and New York state has less than 0.5%). I will add that now.

I thought only the regions that have a blue coloring have cities that are answers to the quiz, so I didn't bother with Montreal. Could you add a caveat clarifying this?

Done, I could see it was tripping up a few people based on the quiz results. For now I added a caveat but if anyone has suggestions how to make this more clear that would be great too (since not everyone reads caveats).

Great quiz thanks!

I tried Leicester (UK) - checking after it seems the 2021 census says 27,229 sikh people live in Leicester(shire, including directly adjacent districts of Blaby, Charnwood, Harborough, Oadby and Wigston) so would meet your 20k threshold?
