Was hoping this would have all 23 who were running initially – missing Chafee, Webb, Lessig, Pataki, Jindal, Graham and Perry.

In the description, you should specify "Major" in this case to mean "Had an active campaign during the primaries". Because there IS a difference (e.g. Scott Walker, for a while, was considered a major, likely candidate for the nomination circa June-August 2015, until his poll numbers, as well as Rubio's and Jeb's, dropped significantly with the rise of Trump, and he suspended his campaign in September; meanwhile, Jim Gilmore's campaign DID last all the way until he suspended it a week after the New Hampshire primary, but he was by no means a "major" candidate. He was at the bottom out of the 12 remaining GOP candidates, and he wasn't even included in any polls! He was only allowed on the UNDERCARD debate stage TWICE: the first one, and the last one).

Now, you very well could also make a second quiz specifically for candidates who dropped out BEFORE the primaries began (Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Bobby Jindal, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki, Jim Webb, Lincoln Chafee, and Larry Lessig).

how about third party candidates? Gary Johnson got a significant percent of the votes. Or how about Jill Stein?
