Just as the above, he is part of abstract expressionism movement. Though his approach is entirely different from both the above and Jackson Pollock. They are mostly black and white shapes

Movement often associated and coexisting with abstract expressionism, but focusing largely on the texture and being sort of anti-painting. Very fond of experimental techniques such as hammering nails and fabric onto the canvas

Second most famous pop artist after Andy Warhol. Inspired by comics books aesthetics.

Belgium’s most famous surrealist. Often combining common objects in an uncommon way, creating new associations and juxtaposition.

Street artist, musician and painter. Died at the age of 27, was friends with Andy Warhol and didn’t like the term “graffiti”
Basquiat/Jean Basquiat/Jean-Michel Basquiat
Another street artist who died young, often worked in the New York subway. One of the most well known LGBT artists.

Artist known mostly for photography, though he also painted. Inventor of the photogram and contributor to the surrealist and dada movements
Man Ray
A russian avant-garde abstract movement, one of the earliest abstract movements, splintering from russian futurism, founded by Miklail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova. Name similiar to the answer above, even though they are not related. Focused on representing novel concepts of light, such as x rays, hence the name.
