This quiz was pretty interesting to make. I actually think the number of Arabic speakers is undercounted for a few of these since in many cases only the number of native speakers was available.

Yeah, I was surprised about Sweden, because Finland is the biggest single country of origin of immigrants, making up 4% of the population. But if you put together all the Arab countries, that makes way more than 4%.

Yeah, I found two sources from 2018 that specify language specifically with one source giving 1.2% and another giving 1.9%. But if we use first generation immigrant data from 2023 we can see that the number of first generation immigrants from Arab countries in Sweden is around 5%. So we can deduce that most likely at least that many people in Sweden speak Arabic. But since in this case a language specific source was available I used that instead of relying on guesstimation.
