No, every other nations quiz on here uses the standard 196. You don't see Western Sahara inserted because it's disputed but the user has feelings about that, you don't see Taiwan excluded, you just see Palestine, from someone trying to make a political statement usually. Sovereign nations are sovereign nations. If states counted inside of national boundaries, Kurdistan would exist in Southern Turkey, parts of Syria, and northern Iraq. But you never see that. It's contentious. Most quizzes still take Burma instead of Myanmar. No splitting hairs. But Palestine is a nation. Not a state. Whatever. Political correctness has seeped its way into my recreational activities now, I'm bitter about it. Sorry for the rant and no disrespect intended towards the quiz maker as it was a good quiz.
Nice quiz! I like how you formatted it. With the dots, there is only one after the N for North Korea, when there should be multiple. Also, there are multiple after the i for Ireland, when there should only be one.
