I am surprised to learn the fleur de lis is not the national flower of France.

It seems that the Fluer-de-lis is not actually a real flower, but a stylized symbol that is possibly based on the iris (or lis for lily). Good point, though!

Odd that this quiz doesn't include China and Peonies... one of the most well known national flowers.

That was harder than I thought it would be! There were I few I knew but weren't included or I'd have gotten a better score, hah! But I believe it's spelled Chamomile with an 'h' for Russia.
