Guadeloupe and Martinique are counted as part of France, like Alaska and Hawaii are in the USA

Puerto Rico should count as part of the US and US should be considered bordering the Carribean. It was my only incorrect answer.

I agree. If France borders the Caribbean, so does the U.S.

Puerto Rico is not a state of America. as compared to French Guiana, Guadeloupe etc. which are the French equivalent.
