Political Geography: German, Austrian Colonies

This quiz is likely to be challenging for all but the most avid history buffs. To compensate, I have left the yellow box feature off, making it possible to get some freebie answers.

Name the modern-day sovereign state(s) that received territory from the named colonial territory. The Colonizer column is intended merely as a historical reference.

I think Neu Askania doesn't really fit there, it was surely not territory directly administered by them souvereignly

I don’t understand who you mean by “them” or how the administration of the colony is relevant. This is a quiz about settlements colonized by Germans and Austrians. Neu Askania was colonized by about 25 German settlers c. 1828 when Frederick Ferdinand, Duke of Anhalt-Köthen leased the estate of Chapli, located in present-day Ukraine. The dukes of Anhalt-Köthen also held the title to the Dukedom of Ascania.

You’ll need to clarify your point and convince me of my error if I am to consider revising this quiz.
