They are on the longest rivers? I thought it may have something to do with bodies of water but Chicago led me to Lake Michigan. I forgot the Chicago River flowing to the Mississippi. La Paz, Astana, and Ulaanbaatar seemed far from major rivers. Thinking about rivers led me to my quiz.

Thanks. I was surprised by some. The series of three rivers flowing from Ulaanbaatar to Lake Baikal, and from there to the Lena. La Paz was one that really threw me. I thought it was in the Altiplano endorheic basis along with Lake Titicaca, but it appears to be just outside the border.

That should be basin, not basis.
