Good idea. "This quiz took me years to make" is exaggeration, though; isn't that a better word than hyperbole here? Also, I don't see why all hands on deck is synecdoche.

All hands on deck calls for everyone to show up with everything, not just their hands. Also, good suggestion.

I would suggest making people answer one question at a time, to avoid people typing in random figurative language words to get the questions.
