The location of Columbus' remain is more complicated than the question suggests. Current research suggests he was first buried in Valladolid, Spain, then moved to Seville, then moved to the DR, then moved to Cuba, then some of the remains went back to Seville.
I remember that confused me, I heard the song first, “Copacabana”, then learned about the beach in Brazil, and assumed that they were talking about the place in brazil, but then I heard the song again and actually listened to the lyrics, which prompted me to do a google search and finally learn that they are talking about the club in NYC
Nah, there's a lot of kill joys, people complain (rightfully so) about corruption and poor wages and politically motivated detention. However, yes, the life goes on to a beat... really fun place to go, glad that I did in my late 20s. I wouldn't dare to go now a decade+ later, with 2 little kiddos (too much risk).
I don't know about the others, but the song Havana is one of my favourites and is something that got me interested in Cuba (although I knew about Che Guevara and Fidel Castro and Cuban Cigars etc. beforehand)
I visited Havana and saw the statue of Jesus Christ. I was unable to actually go visit it, because it was located in a rather unsafe area known as Casablanca.
