Also not being from there, Birmingham and Mobile would probably be the only two I would get. Birmingham because of Birmingham UK and the civil rights movement and Mobile because of Bob Dylan.
By city proper, Miami is not the most populous city in Florida. It's Jacksonville. Of course, the Miami metro area has about three times the population of Jacksonville's, so in practical terms, it doesn't fit what you're suggesting. Otherwise, Missouri is probably the best option. St. Louis has a much smaller population within city limits than Kansas City does, but its metro population is a little larger. So, depending on how you define "most populous city" and which of those two cities is actually more guesses, it's entirely possible the most populous city in Missouri is neither the most guessed nor the capital.
Agree. I also think of it like an abandon city while abandoned cities are most likely in ukraine right now.. while I would say in us there is not any abandoned city that is close to those in ukraine to be honest.. the destruction is different in U.S.
what is it about asheville that makes everyone know it? its only 11th most populated in nc and doesnt even have 100k people(or atleast what data from 2023 says so maybe its changed)
Thank you.
