What Do You Do? - Sudden Death #2

You’re given a problematic situation, and a whole bunch of options of actions. Some are part of the right solution to the issue, some aren’t. Click all the ones that would be viable solutions. Click any of the wrong ones, and you’re toast.
Your situation is: Pushy car salesman
You're trying to buy a base trim 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe that has an MSRP of $34,200, and you plan to own it for at least 6 years
You ideally want to get close to $32,500 for it but you'd be willing to go as high as $34,000 for it
You don't need the car today, and you don't have room in your budget for anything higher than your ceiling price

Who wouldn't want extended warranty on their car...

it's not worth it. those warranties are usually only for a few years anyway, and if you're buying new then it's unlikely that your car should have a serious mechanical problem during the warranty period. plus you have to get the car insured anyway. most likely you will pay a lot of extra money for something you will not need to use. salespeople are always trying to sell you on things you don't need

Oh, makes sense (I've never bought a car before, as you can see (doing so and driving would be illegal at my age...))

Idk why but im kinda surprised “remember that the dealer is smarter than u because he has years of experience” is correct. Can anyone explain that?

I recommend rewriting that question. I read it to mean "the dealer has a lot of experience, and knows what works in sales," which is both true and important to remember.

So I got 14/15. Why is it important to shop at the end of the month? Is that an American thing?

i enabled answer explanations but maybe those don't actually work on sudden death and QM just hasn't changed it so you can't enable it on SD quizzes.

in almost every industry, salespeople have to hit monthly sales quotas to meet performance goals. this is why it's recommended you go car shopping near the end of the month, as salespeople will be slightly more inclined to sell at a lower price to meet their quotas
