List the native megafauna (greater than 100 Ib/45 kg) found in Europe.
Entirely aquatic animals and sea turtles are not included in these lists
Invasive animals are not included in these lists, nor are extinct animals.
domesticated animals, even species that are descended from native animals eg cows/Aurochs, or Mouflon are not included. this is a list of native wild species only.
Europe is defined as having borders on the Ural Mountains south to the Ural River, the Caucasus mountains, and the Bosporus/Dardanelles.

Before anyone asks, there does seem to be a small population of leopards in European Russia, in and around Ossetia and Chechnya. This was enough to include them. The same region is also the sole European stronghold of the wild goat, and both species of caucasian tur. There is a population of saiga antelope in European Russia near Astrakhan.

I am aware that most of the pictures shared with the North American megafauna quiz were taken in North America, but even if the subspecies are different, they constitute the same species and should still be useful.

Finally, I did not add the Mouflon, despite meeting all other criteria, as they appear to be descended from domestic sheep populations that went wild.
