This is in land claimed by the US, including disputed territories
Prominence is not elevation. It is a measurement of the elevation above the highest ridgeline to a higher mountain. eg the Matterhorn is 14,692 ft, but has a prominence of 3,492 ft due to the ridgeline to the Wiesshorn being at 11,270 ft
