Click the cities that belong to each selected state. You can move back and forth between the states. But, be careful. If you make a mistake... Sudden Death!
Go back and forth between states to whittle down the possibilities!
Very much enjoyed this one! Got 39/40, Sarasota got me at the last, I was convinced it was in New York but turns out I was thinking of the very similarly named Saratoga haha
I know this is an American cities quiz but I still feel like the choice of cities overly relies on American cultural knowledge (songs, tv shows, etc.) that people outside of the US are never going to have heard of
I believe a good quiz has one third answers most people know, one third answers many people, know, and one third answers that are a bit more obscure. If someone gets two thirds of the answers, that’s a respectable score. Plus, this means people are actually learning something if they keep playing to get a perfect score.
That's a consistent pattern on this website. U.S. related quizzes tend to have more difficult questions than quizzes relating to other parts of the world.
Would love to see my score compared against fellow Europeans, got 29/40. Haven't heard of like 8 of the remaining cities, and the 3 I did I had no clue
I do feel the author's comment about "lack of patriotism" is insulting to everyone who's not a US citizen. (And potentially also insulting towards US citizens, let me know.) That kind of judgement has no place in a site draining such an international audience.
One nitpick though, 'Penascola', aside from that, 5/5 and nominated.
And they're closing all the factories down
Out in Bethlehem, they're killing time
Filling out forms, standing in line
Well, our fathers fought the Second World War
Spent their weekends on the Jersey Shore
Met our mothers at the USO
Asked them to dance, danced with them slow
Also it says countries and not states in the description.
39/40 lmao. Guess Uncle Sam's got high standards
Great quiz and format!
