There are sooo many countries missing that I expected that I had to go check on wikipedia and some of them are really not there. :D Some of them I think are actually missing here (e.g. Cameroon?). But it's a great quiz, I didn't get all of them!
It can happen that I miss a country or that the article changed since I made it. In case of Cameroon, I couldn't find it. All I could find is Kamerun, which I didn't count on purpose, because it's the colonial name and is not referring to the modern Cameroon.
Nothing about Japan? Did Wikipedia forget the Axis Powers of World War 2 or was there no true alliance between the two countries at the time, there was just a western front and an eastern front?
It is surprising some of the countries absent from the article, though I would say that Namibia is present in the sentence 'the colonial government in South West Africa (present-day Namibia)...'
I am always unsure with these quizzes whether 'UK' or 'Britain' was intended to be included for United Kingdom. If it is, Britain is referred to twice in addition to that already covered by the quiz, once in reference to the approach to WWI and again in reference to the beginning of WWII.
I expected maaaany more countries to be mentioned, especially because of the huge diplomatic and economic relations, the source of immigrants (and emigrants), the colonial empire, WW2, expats and so much more. Only 22 (modern) countries surely is surprising.
Minor nitpick but "After the .... Germany is the ..." and "South West Africa, present-day ...." have four periods instead of three. Nice quiz idea, well executed!
Just to add another few completely insignificant nitpicks because I was curious: the US question also has an ellipsis with four instead of three periods, and there is no space before the ellipsis in the Switzerland question.
For some countries like China, there is a large history section of former countries and dynasties, which people usually don't know. To make it fun and equal for all Wikipedia mention quizzes, former countries are excluded.
