100% without ever learning a word of Afrikaans. It helps to be Dutch :)

I spotlighted the quiz, it will appear on the front page on 22 March.

Lekker om iets Afrikaans te sien.

It's interesting to see you using the word 'lekker' in that context. In Dutch, that means 'delicious' and we wouldn't use it to express something like 'nice' or 'fun'. We would use 'leuk' instead.

Ik bedoel op zich kan dat wel. Lekker is best breed, en in informele situaties kan het best voor iets leuks als dit gezegd worden, zonder dat het raar klinkt.

Yah, I left Namibia aged ten, but 3 years in NL later in life made this possible. "Pers" and "Perske" were two I was not sure about, but somewhere at the back of my mind, I seemed to recall "paars" to be a colour; thanks, Dutch.

Being Dutch this is too easy. Curious what the Flemish would think, they're also speaking Dutch, but with a lot of different words, like a unique dialect or something. Maybe have Surinamese person do one as well while we're at it. :P

I am Flemish, and this was very easy. 20/20 without hesitating. Some words in afrikaans we actually use in our dialect as well!

All correct without ever learning a lick of Afrikaans or Dutch, and with good etymological reasoning.
